The overlock machine is a different ‘sewing’ machine from the classic sewing machine. It uses between 3 and 5 bobbins at the same time. It can do a more complex stitch than a conventional sewing machine. This point allows the fabric to be contained and a clean finish is achieved. A blade cuts the fabric whilst the machine sews. It also allows you to maintain elasticity in your knitted fabrics (knitwear, jersey, fleece...). Our universal point needles are designed to achieve the best balance between strength and flexibility.
To prevent your machine from becoming unaligned, we recommend BOHIN needles as they can be used on all major brands of machines.
