Cross stitch and needlework needles (round tip)

This tapestry needle is a round-tipped needle with a large eye. It is ideal for sewing with tapestry yarn. It can also be used for sewing knitted items. They are also used on Aida cloth for canvas work or cross-stitch embroidery.

The numbering corresponds to the size of each of the hands, with No. 14 being the longest and thickest and No. 28 the shortest and thinnest in the series.

Numbers 22, 24 & 28 are very commonly used for cross stitch.
