Embroidery needles are used on fabrics with warp and weft, from the thickest to the thinnest , for all types of traditional embroidery. They have a large eye that allows you to thread the cotton embroidery thread(s), which are thicker than regular sewing thread. The embroidery thread, being shinier, will add dimension to your work.

The numbering corresponds to the size of each of the hands, with No. 1 being the longest and thickest and No. 10 the shortest and thinnest in the series.
