The tip of these needles is rounded, allowing for better penetration of fabric fibers by gently separating the weave for smoother gliding. Their elongated eyes make them highly valued for embroidery work.

The 40mm ball needle size is ideal for 5.5 and 6 count Aida cloths as well as 10 count evenweave.
Size 37 mm for Aida 7 fabrics, linen and evenweave.

The added bonus: the ball needle is very effective for untying knots.
