Norman artist Elsa explores the needle as a common thread in our stories, weaving links between ancestral gestures and contemporary creation.

In *Pour un royaume*, Marie Pourchot and Ise Cellier explore the impact and lasting effects of war. War, this war, their war, our wars!

Their work weaves together the echo of family voices, and offers a sensitive journey between past and present, between intimacy and collective memory.

Thread, the driving force of their creations, reveals unspoken wounds, quests for healing, and a luminous desire for life.

Rosalie Martin

April to May 2026

Embroidery, textile arts, the needle viewed as a paintbrush: this is the signature of Rosalie Martin who explores embroidery as a field of experimentation, with the desire to push its limits.

The thread can be placed on various supports: wire mesh, cardboard, tree leaves, straw and of course textiles.

Freed from its traditional uses, embroidery becomes a fully-fledged creative gesture, bold and expressive, where colours, shapes and words find their full place.

From Monday to Friday, from 2:30 pm to 6 pm .

Free and open access.

The Saint-Pair Tapestry

June to August 2026

The result of the work of 610 embroiderers from around the world, this exhibition presents a monumental collaborative work. Initiated by Geneviève Verrier, this 204-meter tapestry celebrates embroidery as a universal language and a vehicle for human connection.

Each participant added her personal touch to small squares sewn with a running stitch, blending motifs inspired by nature, travel, or cultural tributes, from Japan to Mayotte. Assembled, these fragments create a long, vibrant ribbon where textures, colors, and stories resonate with one another.

The work illustrates the power of embroidery as a collective expression, ancestral heritage and contemporary artistic medium, inviting the visitor to contemplate a textile landscape that is both monumental and profoundly human.

From Monday to Friday, from 2:30 pm to 6 pm .

Free and open access.

The Filomena

From September to October 2026

Sylvaine Cussonneau & Chrystelle Bertrand form a duo of textile artists born from a long complicity and a common sensitivity to colour, nature and living things.

Scraps of fabric, rich in history and varied fibers, are braided, woven, and then enriched with embroidery and appliqué to create unique pieces, letting the material guide the hand and tell stories of sensitive landscapes.

Like Nuages, which offers a bright and joyful perspective on the storms often viewed with sadness by our Western eyes, but which become the subject of memorable and ancestral celebrations in other civilizations, a vital element. It just goes to show that everything is a matter of perspective.

From Monday to Friday, from 2:30 pm to 6 pm .

Free and open access.
