At the heart of our workshops, you are invited to explore the secrets of making our sewing needles. Up close with the workers, discover unique expertise in an authentic and immersive environment. A large contemporary museum also opens its doors to you, with its thematic, historical, and technical spaces. Live an unforgettable experience in the heart of France's only sewing needle factory!
When to come?
The BOHIN workshops are open from April 1 to October 31, 2025, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Workers are on leave on public holidays and from July 28 to August 15, 2025 (inclusive). During this period, the tour remains accessible thanks to videos, explanatory texts, and background sound.

How to come ?
The BOHIN workshops are ideally located in the center of Normandy, in Orne (61), in Saint-Sulpice-sur-Risle, near L'Aigle.
Between the D-Day landing beaches and the Loire Valley châteaux, between Paris and Mont-Saint-Michel, it's an easy stopover to include in your holiday itinerary or a destination in itself.

By road: You can easily arrive by car, camper van, motorcycle, or touring bus and park in our dedicated parking lot. The BOHIN workshops are located in the village of Saint-Sulpice-sur-Risle. Once there, follow the signs to the visitor parking lot.
By train: The town of L'Aigle is served by the Paris Montparnasse - Granville line. The SNCF train station is 3.5 km from the BOHIN workshops.
By bike: A greenway allows you to visit the workshops by bike. On site, you'll find storage for your bike and lockers.

A €1 reduction is granted upon presentation of proof for people with disabilities , retirees , students and job seekers .

Teachers from the academies of Normandy, Paris, Versailles, Orléans-Tours and Nantes benefit from free admission to the visit upon presentation of their Education Pass.
Accessibility
The BOHIN Workshops tour has been designed to be accessible to all. Do you have any walking difficulties? A wheelchair and chairs are available throughout the tour. You can bring your own walking stick or folding chair. For people with reduced mobility, the tour route is equipped with elevators. We offer two disabled parking spaces located next to the BOHIN Workshops tour reception. To use these spaces, please let us know before your arrival at 02 33 24 89 38.
We do not accept animals during your visit to the BOHIN workshops (including in the shop, even if held in your arms or in a bag), except for guide dogs and assistance dogs. However, be careful of possible needles and pins on the ground. Our car park is not shaded, so we do not recommend leaving an animal in your vehicle during your visit. You can contact the Temple d'Akhara or Canicool boarding kennels to have your animal looked after.
