The material was selected for its strength and rigidity . It is also highly resistant to wear and friction. Furthermore, the manufacturing process recovers unused plastic for remelting and reuse. Thus, each easy-to-use snap fastener is made of 50% recycled plastic , and the manufacturing process produces no waste.
