Our lightweight fabric attachment tool will help you with all your sewing projects. To ensure successful application, it's important to have the right equipment. This attachment tool is designed for attaching 10, 12, and 14 mm no-sew buttons to lightweight fabrics.

What will you need?

The pressure-free button setting tool consists of the following parts:

• a plate with a front/back imprint with the diameters of the claw caps (10, 12 and 14 mm)
• a punch that will accommodate the non-claw parts of your buttons

For installation, first equip yourself with a hammer for the final crimping phase.

How to use the snap-free button tool?

Your snap fasteners are made up of 4 parts:

• 2 caps with claws
• 1 female part
• 1 male part

On the plate, place a cap with a claw in the location corresponding to the diameter of your button.

At the end of the punch, place the male or female part of your button.

On the cap with the claw, place your light fabric, and bring the claws out slightly through the fabric.

Place the punch and the female or male part on top, and crimp by striking the punch with a hammer. We recommend that you be gentle and use a striking force appropriate to the lightness of your fabric when crimping.

Repeat the operation with the other two parts of the snap fastener.
