Ideal for marking all light-colored fabrics without damaging the fibers. Tailor's chalk is a historical accessory in sewing and garment making. This small tool is essential for marking pattern lines: darts, pocket placement on trousers or harem pants, ruffle placement… it allows you to delineate areas for cutting or pleating.

It washes off in the first wash. Rectangular chalks are particularly suitable for long lines. For dark fabrics, we recommend using the BOHIN chalk pencil.

Important: It is always best to test on a fabric sample to check that the marking disappears properly.

It is also advisable not to mark the seams but the margins so that any marking residues are not visible, and to do it on the wrong side of the fabrics.
