The blades are made of high carbon stainless steel - they last a long time and have aexceptional cutting performance. The blades of these scissors are nested all the way to the end of the handles, allowing for great stability and better cutting precision. The tension setting screws allow for easy tension adjustment. The AUS8A blades (hardness 58±1 HRC) are 3.7 mm - 4 mm thick.KAI Left-Handed Scissorsfeature an elegant, matte, anti-glare surface and a patented 'duplex interlock' fastening device, which does not loosen easily.
