TheseJapanese scissorshave been manufactured in the purest Japanese tradition for over 100 years. The blades are made of high carbon stainless steel - they last a long time and have aexceptional cutting performance. The blades of these scissors are nested all the way to the end of the handles, allowing for great stability and better cutting precision. The tension setting screws allow for easy tension adjustment. The AUS8A blades (hardness 58±1 HRC) are 3.7 mm - 4 mm thick.Scissors for cutting Kevlarfeature an elegant, matte, anti-glare surface and a patented 'duplex interlock' fastening device, which does not loosen easily. The screws are treated and hardened to 45±1 HRC. The 7000 Series received the IF Design Award 2005.
