The AUS8A blades (hardness 58±1 HRC) are 3.7 mm - 4 mm thick.KAI fine-blade tailor's scissorsfeature an elegant, matte, anti-glare surface and a patented 'duplex interlock' fastening device, which does not loosen easily. The screws are treated and hardened to 45±1 HRC. The 7000 Series received the IF Design Award 2005.
