For this Christmas edition, the BOHIN team presents a snow-covered village. The beautiful facades of the village's main square are blanketed in a fluffy layer. This not-quite-asleep village is dotted with fir trees and snowmen, all illuminated by the full moon filtering through the soft snowflakes. This very special full moon on Christmas Eve shines in a unique way, and everyone eagerly awaits the arrival of Santa Claus. He is clearly approaching, carrying in his sleigh all the chosen, hoped-for, and ordered gifts!
This assortment was designed for the 1900 Universal Exposition. Its aim was to demonstrate the exceptional stitching of very different needles in a single pocket. Quite an achievement at the time! The machine used to make this pocket is still on display in our workshops, which are open to the public.
These needles are all different, yet the same care has been taken in their manufacture! Each needle showcases its expertise and specific characteristics. They are made of high-quality nickel-plated steel, smooth and strong. Each one, in its own unique way, is a quality tool to help you create the most beautiful projects! To help you find your way around, the types and numbers of needles are marked inside. This also makes storage easier! Within each category, the largest size has the smallest number, and the finest has the largest number. You will notice that the tapestry range, with round or pointless embroidery, has different numbers than the others. This is due to the difference in its point and eye, which is larger than that of embroidery needles with a point.
