Furthermore, the machine used to manufacture them recovers unused plastic for remelting and reuse. Each easy-to-use snap fastener is made from 50% recycled plastic, and the manufacturing process produces no waste.

The material also allows for easy-to-install press studs to be dyed. A kneading process also allows for less water and chemicals to be used to make the press stud.
