Woven labels - Square format - 3.5 cm - pre-folded
These labels are ready to use!They can be sewn flat onto any textile surface. The ends are already folded and will not fray. With their fun messages, they allow you to mark your achievements or even your purchases with a personal touch.
Where to put a label?You can place these square woven labels on the front of a garment, an accessory, or a detail to add a wink that everyone can see! Adding a label allows you to personalize your project, revealing both your personality and your sense of humor. You can also choose to place it on the inside, for example on a top. How to put a label on a garment?The advantage of BOHIN woven labels is that they are already ready to sew: no need to fold the edges or overlock them, these woven labels are just waiting to complete your latest sewing project! You have several options for adding them: either completely flat or just sewn on the sides.
How to sew a label by hand?Small items are easily sewn by hand. The advantage of sewing woven labels by hand is the opportunity to do it invisibly. Seams are sometimes unsightly when they are visible both on the label and on its back, especially if the label is inside a garment. With their side flaps, you can take advantage of this excess fabric on your sew-on label to make an invisible seam. By gently stitching into your main fabric and crossing the flaps, you will have a plated label with a perfect finish.
How to sew a label on a machine?This is probably the simplest, fastest, and most effective: sew your woven labels with a sewing machine! Simply place the label in the desired location. You can secure the location with a pin, a clip, or even temporary glue. Then, simply sew a straight seam close to the edge. You can choose to sew only the sides or all the way around for added security and to avoid the risk of snagging.
These labels were woven in Portugal and are Oeko Tex certified, meaning that everything has been done to respect the environment, good working conditions and not expose you to harmful substances.
If you need to brand your clothing with your name, consider a branding kit. For hand sewing, we recommend using a size 5 sewing needle, which will be strong enough to penetrate the thickness of the fabric. For machine sewing, size 90 needles are recommended for attaching your sew-on label.
