It provides detailed instructions for assembling your pouch. It includes tips on cutting and preparing the pieces to be sewn, as well as instructions for assembling the pouch. You will learn how to create the flap ruffle with a 50 cm x 5 cm strip of fabric, and how to adjust the length of the fabric strip if you want a smaller or larger pouch.
For this project, we recommend lightweight fabrics such as cotton poplin, gauze and double gauze, seersucker… Opt for fabrics weighing less than 140 g/m². Since this pouch requires very little fabric, it's the perfect opportunity to use up your scraps!

Materials needed to complete this project:

- Sewing machine and universal BOHIN 70 or 80 machine needles depending on the fabric chosen
- Iron-on interfacing (only if you wish to stiffen the pouch)
- BOHIN snap fastener (for easy installation, we recommend magic snaps)
- A pair of BOHIN scissors that only cut fabric
- A BOHIN marking pencil
- BOHIN pins
