The short darners needles No. 7 have a sharp tip and a big eye to accommodate wool yarn. They are ideal for all types of darning work on medium fabrics such as linen, twill or crepe. Darning consists in making a hole disappear by intertwining threads, which will fill up the surface by re-meshing the fabric. Our short darners needles have a longer eye which makes it easier to thread darning yarn (which is thicker) through. They are ideal for darning wool and cotton.
The numbering corresponds to the size of each needle, No. 3/0 being the longest and thickest one, and No. 11 the shortest and thinnest one of the series.
